The Depository offers a range of professional, data management services as part of our Business Continuity Service. Securus5 is a wholly owned product of The Depository utilising highly encrypted software solutions accredited by Price Waterhouse Coopers for the secure online data back-up of valuable data.

Data backup and recovery servers are securely located in and IBM disaster recovery facility where a client can backup critical data from both their main application servers, desktop PC’s and remote laptop users.

Through the management controls, IT managers can control the frequency and amount of data which is backed up, allowing you to ignore unwanted data such as personal files, local files, image and music files etc.

The software is industry-recognized, highly secure (448 bit ‘Blowfish’ encryption) and The Depository does not have access to the clients self-defined encryption key. All data is replicated to a secondary IBM data centre for absolute disaster recovery and the data centres operate from a core internet backbone of three service providers (providing resilience should any provider fail).

Using a modular interface allows information to be configured and stored on the servers from any operating system including:
Windows, Linux, Netware, Solaris and Macintosh (Mac) Also supports SQL Server, Oracle, Lotus Notes, Exchange Mailbox and MySQL.
