The Depository is a dedicated document archiving and records management company with Head Offices in Blackburn, Lancashire and divisional offices throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Depository facilities comply with BS:5454 regulations and standards for ‘the storage and preservation of archival material’. Business and management processes are regulated and audited to ISO:9001/2000 standards.

The Depository facilities are constructed to be fit for purpose and temperature and relative humidity is constantly monitored, facilities are constructed outside of Environment Agency ‘at risk of flood’ areas and away from potential terrorism threat areas such as city centre locations.

The Depository operates from purpose built facilities with the latest security features including 24/7 security monitoring. Internal and external CCTV coverage linked directly to a monitoring station that has the ability to issue voice commands to potential intruders.

The intruder and smoke detection systems have direct ‘Priority 1’ response links to the local Police and Fire Authorities, ensuring that if any single alarm is triggered a guaranteed response is provided.

The Depository offers a high degree of security and confidentiality to all clients. The sites are un-sign written and visitors as are discouraged. Access to the sites is strictly controlled and all staff have ‘enhanced CRB’ checks performed prior to employment.
