The Depository utilises a highly sophisticated bar code tracking system that allows millions of documents to be tracked and traced 24 hrs a day and for indefinite storage periods. The tracking system has the ability to be rolled out into clients’ offices and allows The Depository the ability to help control our client’s onsite storage areas.

The Tracking system allows all items down to individual sheets of paper to be monitored and the location reported throughout their lifecycle.

Online

Once items are placed on the tracking system our clients have the ability to track documents from the point of creation through to the point of destruction via a secure web interface. Items can be ordered for delivery or collection all from a single online portal and those items which are delivered back to the client are allocated to the named requestor. Furthermore, working in co-ordination with The Depository - the client can control retention scheduling in compliance with DPA and FOI requirements ensuring items are not stored for longer than is legally required!
